Mase & Josh's Wedding!

Mase (Amy) & Josh got married last Friday, August 20th!!


Thursday, we went and got our nails done at Coventina. Here is Mase under the dryer.


That night we had the rehearsal and helped set up a few things at the church.


Mase forgot her awesome ribbon bouquet (that I made) and her marriage license . . so she was kinda stressed at this moment in time but really was awesome overall.. . we thought we were going to have big time Bridezilla but she was very nice and relaxed . . . i think it might've been the xanax . . just sayin . .


These two get the "most awesome couple" award. I mean come on . . how cool do they look together!? So cute. (Best man - Tyler - and his wife).


I think this is where the church coordinator was yelling at us for not paying attention.


The details were awesomeeeeeee. I didn't really have time to take too many pics, so most of these were actually taken by my amazzzzzzing husband, Shane.


For rehearsal dinner we went to Serafini's. We got yummy iced tea, watered down coke, and bread and butter for dinner. Just kidding . . . they were just super busy so we had a nice, long, relaxing dinner. It was fun (seriously.)!

Love love LOVED the flowers. So pretty and so perfect with all the other details.

Umm . . . ignore our bored faces. This wedding ceremony actually FLEW by. Except in the very beginning where the pastor kept talking . . . maybe that was this part. (It was good though! I actually paid attention . . . that's it! . . we are all just deep in thought).

So here are all the SKANKs parents (minus Mase's). . . . we thought it was odd that they sat girls on one side, boys on the other . . they say this is what happens when you are married too long.

Jess & Jase's Wedding!

Last Saturday we went to a beautiful wedding for Shane's high school friend and his now wife.


It was hard to get pictures because people kept standing up in front of me, but here is Jason right before Jess came down the aisle. Love it.


Saying vows! I forgot at a Catholic wedding that they kiss in the middle and not at the end, and I accidentally blurted out a "sh*t!" because I missed getting the picture. Ooops!


The new Mr. & Mrs. heading out of the church (I've realized I use too many angles when I take pictures. I need to stop that).


Matt B (one of Shane's good friends from high school) came home for the wedding (lives in Minnesota now), and we had a couple hours to blow before the reception, so we all hung out at our house and I made them pose for some pictures.

The cake! I'm very upset because I took a TON of pictures at the reception, and somehow they all got deleted. :-(

Maybe it's my camera's way of saying, "what happened at the wedding reception, stays at the wedding reception!"

But seriously . . . I'm bummed.

Home Safe from NYC!

Well, we got back safe & sound on Sunday from our AWESOME NYC trip! I took close to 500 pictures and will try to post all about our trip ASAP . . . unfortunately, ASAP is going to be a while . . . it's been a busy, crazy week! And this weekend is the wedding of Nikkie (one of my friends from like 1st grade)! I will leave you with a couple pictures from NYC . . .

We went up before the sunset and stayed until the sun went down so we could get pics of both!

KT & Mike's Pittsburgh Reception!

KT & Mike had a second reception in Pittsburgh to celebrate their wedding with their Pittsburgh friends!

It was at the New Hazlett Theater.

My favorite was the photo booth set up with mustaches, masks and hats!

We had quite the fun time with our mustaches! This reminds me of our cruise ship excursion where we walked around the entire cruise ship with mustaches on and got pics taken at the "photo booths" there! Everyone thought we were crazy. . yes.

Our 2nd Anniversary!

Today marks the 2 year anniversary of my hubby and I! We got married August 11, 2007 in Erie, PA (Edinboro). It was seriously the best day of my life.

I got to marry the man who makes me laugh, supports me, gives me advice, brings out the best in me, enjoys eating mac n'cheese with me, loves animals, teaches me something new every day, keeps me safe, plays games with me, acts stupid with me, dreams with me, pushes me, and loves me.
I got to marry my best friend.
We have definitely had soooo many milestones already in just our first two years together. We moved 7 hours away from friends and family with just each other to lean on sometimes, started new jobs, bought a house, adopted a puppy, had to go through several major family losses, adopted some kitties, made some major home repairs, moved back home, tried (and finally successfully) sold a house, started new jobs again, and had to pay lots of money to sell our house.We have been through a lot, but have grown closer because of it. Every day I just love him more and more!
We have fun together all the time and I am just so blessed that God put him in my life.
I am looking forward to everything that awaits us in the future. What the future stores, I am not quite sure, but we will trust in God and hope that our marriage becomes even stronger than it already is.

I love you so much Shane and I am so blessed and so thankful for you. From the minute I leave you in the morning, I want to be right back in your arms. I just feel so safe with you. So happy and so in love.

p.s. - For our anniversary we are going out to dinner (on the actual day) and then taking a trip to NYC (at a later time)!!!

Get Excited!

soo it's been a while since my last post . . . . but get excited b/c there are some FUN things coming up!

1. sommer (and bry) is pregs with a baby girl! she is due this august!! i made some awesome invites for her shower. soooo excited to have a niece! she is already spoiled, but rightfully so! i get to see sommer this weekend and she said that i should be able to feel the baby move!
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   


2. marissa & dan are getting married 5/24 & i am in the wedding! yay! can't wait for all the delicious food, the fun, the dancing, the looking pretty, and the family! oh . . . and all the pictures will be good too i guess . . . 3. the rents are coming to visit w/our little pup! it's so hard living so far away, so i am definitely looking forward to getting this visit from them!



4. nikkie & matt's house warming party . . . seems like its been forever since i've seen my girls! everyone is growing up . . . nikkie & matt got a house! kt and mike got engaged! and kristen & mase are finally . . ahem. . . moving out to their own apt!



5. dan & sandy's wedding! met dan from the penn state behrend track & field team. . . . . we both went to nationals together (him for javelin and me for high jump) and both placed 9th! (one off from all-american . . jeez.) i will also get to see some of my best friends from track at the wedding!



6. matt b & sarah's wedding! matt b is one of shane's best friends from high school (he also went to college w/us for a while). one of the most genuine, smartest people i know. their wedding is in minnesota!! which is crazy b/c the flights to get there and back are ridiculously expensive, but love visiting new places & hopefully i can drag shane to the mall of america or the zoo or both!



7. july 4th weekend! home again home again jiggity jig! first time in a long time we will be home to see the entire fam! also sommer's shower is this weekend! and marissa & cassie's birthdays! hopefully some girl time toO!
