I will tell you the whole birth story like I did with Bryce, but couldn't wait to share the great news!

Baby Boy Rock's Party!

Our baby nephew is due anytime now, but we had a party to celebrate him and his family. We decided to go with a "Baby Nemo" theme for two reasons. 1) our niece, Bryce, LOOOVES nemo 2) because of this Bry (baby daddy) joked that their baby would be "Baby Nemo".


Since the movie is 7 years old, I had to order everything online, but I was still able to find everything I needed!

Thanks to the idea from one of my BFF's, we decided to change our address for the day.

Big Girl Bed!

My sister-in-law sent this cute pic of Brycee to me! She's using a big girl bed now! Gotta get her ready to be a big girl to take care of her little brother or sister! So cute! :-)

p.s. - Funny that you all think I'm talking about me having a baby! I am definitely having the baby itch, but I think Shane and I need some more time with just us! At least for a little . . . .

cuppies I made to celebrate their baby!

Bry & Sommer are due to have their second kiddo at the end of August! They are amazing parents and have done such an awesome job with Bryce so far, and I know their love will double when they have this baby! I already have a day marked off in my vacation days for the birth day of my next niece/nephew! I can't wait!

Baby Bryce Update!

Thought I would give you an update on my almost 5 week old niece, Bryce! When we went home this past weekend, I got to see her and babysit her!!! It was the first time (or so we were told) that she was away from her parents. Sommer and Bry went out on Friday night to celebrate their anniversary, and Shane, Grandma & Grandpa Hester, and me got to watch Bryce Lynn!

Shortly after they left, we received a call from the anxious mommy to make sure everything was going well. We thought it was so cute, and wanted to let them know that Bryce was being a good girl, so we later sent this pic message to them:

Bryce didn't really like when you sat down, so you had to walk around and bounce her. She looooves to be bounced! And this picture was her looking at me . . being so curious . . when I was talking to her and singing the ABC's.

I didn't even realize it, but since she has been born, we were home 3 out of the total 4 weekends! Crazy! And so lucky to be able to see her and spend time with her! Although, I wish it could be every day . . or at least every other day or at least every weekend . . . I know Bry & Sommer would get sick of me. :-P

Here is Bryce just looking at me when I was talking to her. She was following me around with her eyes and was so interested in what I was saying! At least that makes one person!! Ha!

Mommy and Daddy are back from their first night away from their little girl! They missed her so much, but we enjoying babysitting her so much!

And a couple days ago, we were sent this beautiful pic message that said "i miss my aunts and uncles"! We miss you Bryce!! You have no idea!!

It's Official! I Will Be an Aunt Tomorrow! :-)

YAY!!! My lovely brother-in-law and sister-in-law decided to get induced tomorrow morning! This is wonderful for a bunch of reasons for them, but it means so much to me, because I will get to be there for everything :-) My lovely bosses let me take off tomorrow and Monday so I will get to spend some quality time with my family! I cannot wait! Seriously. I'm going crazy!

Shaney and I are leaving for Erie after work today . . . it's going to be a late night, but soooooooooo worth it!! Pray that we get there safely!

Oh my gosh! I am freaking out!! I can't even imagine what I will be like when I am the one having the baby (not for several years. . . sorry mom).

AhHhhhHH!! I cannot wait to be the best aunt I can be to their baby!

My 4-D Niece!

yesterday bry & sommer had their 4-d sonogram for their baby girl!!

i am getting more and more excited!!!! but also more and more bummed that i won't be there the minute she is born!! :-( we live about 6 1/2 to 7 hours away from erie, pa (where the baby will be born), and there is just no way we can get there in enough time unless sommer is in labor for a loooong time, but i don't wish that on her at all! i told them they just have to take lots of pictures and remember everything so they can tell me all about it!

the time is coming near though! they had their last baby class monday, and got a tour of the hospital! they have their bags all packed and are ready for the day! i can't wait to share the baby pictures with you! :-)

I Love Sommer & Bry & My Un-Born Niece!

sooo . . . my sister & brother (in-laws) are having a baby girl next month and i can't even begin to tell you how SUPER excited i am! not only because i love babies, but i love my family and after all of the difficulties they've had, they are finally having a baby girl of their own!

i didn't even know they were getting maternity pictures taken, but bry finally decided to let me know i guess, and so here they are! yay!! :-)

It Was a Baby Rock 4th!

Shane and I's last weekend of chaos for a while . . . (thank goodness . . . not that we don't LOOOOVE seeing everyone, but we haven't been in our house on the weekend in over 4 weeks!)

got to go back home to Erie, PA where we met up with both of our families and some friends! the main reason we were home was for the shower of sommer & my niece! :-) it went rather well!! the food was delicious! i made a fun diaper cake w/my mommy! (see above pic)! great to see the fam! and sommer, bry, and baby rock got lots of fun prezzies! sommer looks amazing as always and had the cutest maternity clothes! the eating cake was fun & so cute! (found the saying online but don't remember where . . . sorry)

















we also got to go out on the boat (don & rita's) on lake erie! sooo beautiful out there! got to go swimming a little bit and see a HUGE snapping turtle! (luckily it wasn't when i was swimming.)

we celebrated marissa's birthday toO!! happy b-day sissy-in-law! :-)

i'll just say that it was so great to see all of our families! and the little time i got to spend with some of my friends was awesome!
