Silpada!

About two weeks ago, my sister-in-law (Sommer) and I had a Silpada party. Sommer's mom sells it, and what girl doesn't love jewelry?!

Their stuff is so beautiful and so well made! Sommer would always wear it and I would always say, "ooh! That's so pretty!" and she would say "it's Silpada!". So we decided to have a party together! I still haven't gotten all my jewelry, but I can't wait!

What's a party without some food?! We got some fruit and subs from Wegmans, and some pretzles/chips and dip, some carrots and ranch, some crackers/pep and cheese, some trail mix, some yummy white parm chicken dip, some pepperoni bread, and our awesome cuppies we made!

We got the recipe from Kraft. They are peanut butter cheesecake brownie babies! We put chocolate frosting on them instead of whip cream and cherries, but they were still delicious!! Definitely recommend them!!

Buff Chick Dip! & The Best Shoes N-Ever!

mmm . . . . so my friends (kt, mase, & kc) are obsessed with dips. . . mostly spinach artichoke dip and buffalo chicken dip. i had my first taste of spinach artichoke dip on the day of my bachelorette party. very yummy, but i prefer queso dip!

i tried my first buffalo chicken dip at nikkie's house warming party and looooooved it! recently we have all been chating on gmail and talking about how hungry we are for it . . . . after two days i just couldn't take it anymore, and went to the store to get the ingredients! and made my first batch of buff chick dip last night! yummmmmmmmmyyyyy!! i made a 1/2 batch b/c it's just shane and i. but i accidentally forgot to cut the hot sauce in 1/2 . . . but it still turned out very well! shane even had some, and he's very picky!

oh . . and then later we had a soccer game (which we won!! yay!!) where we saw these ridiculous, but fun shoes!

It Was a Baby Rock 4th!

Shane and I's last weekend of chaos for a while . . . (thank goodness . . . not that we don't LOOOOVE seeing everyone, but we haven't been in our house on the weekend in over 4 weeks!)

got to go back home to Erie, PA where we met up with both of our families and some friends! the main reason we were home was for the shower of sommer & my niece! :-) it went rather well!! the food was delicious! i made a fun diaper cake w/my mommy! (see above pic)! great to see the fam! and sommer, bry, and baby rock got lots of fun prezzies! sommer looks amazing as always and had the cutest maternity clothes! the eating cake was fun & so cute! (found the saying online but don't remember where . . . sorry)

















we also got to go out on the boat (don & rita's) on lake erie! sooo beautiful out there! got to go swimming a little bit and see a HUGE snapping turtle! (luckily it wasn't when i was swimming.)

we celebrated marissa's birthday toO!! happy b-day sissy-in-law! :-)

i'll just say that it was so great to see all of our families! and the little time i got to spend with some of my friends was awesome!

sorry this post sucks . . i'm super exhausted from the past month and have TONS to say, but know you wouldn't read it if it were super long . . . so you can see my pics below for more deets (details!).

p.s. - mase never brought us the cuppies that she promised she would bring us . . . thanks mase. :-P

Nothing like Celebrating July 4th w/some Hot Dogs & Vaseline!

But on a not so weird note . . . going home to good ol' Erie, PA this weekend!! Can't wait to see my fam and friends! It's another jammed pack weekend . . . brunch w/the dad's side Friday morn, cemetary to visit my grandpa & aunt, dinner w/mom's side, then back to shane's mommy's house to get ready for sommer's baby shower! saturday morn - baby shower, celebrating marissa's bday, ashley's grad party, appies & drinkies w/the girls saturday night, leaving early sunday morn for our long trip home . . . ugh . . it even sounds way too quick.

pray for some non-existent traffic and safe journeys!
