Random!

Hello! So still no cruise pics . . . really we need to get a new internet connection . . . it's just far too frustrating to upload them all.

So here are some random pics for you!

So . . the one day on my way to work, I got freaked out by a school bus and tried to move over (the ditch was blending in with the road) . . I went too far over, and the ditch sucked me right in. . . . ugh. . it really was terrible. . . so embarrassing and so frustrating b/c I had to put all the extra burden on everyone. . . (my hubby was wonderful in picking me up and taking care of the tow truck and taking the car to my dad's shop . . . my dad was awesome by fixing my car super fast for me . . there was a bent arm or something . . .) . . anyways . . I worked from home that day, and Shane decided to go meander down to his mom and stepdad's creek to see what it looked like. It's been so cold in Erie (-25 degrees with the wind chill at one point) and so snowy and icy . . . . Shane loves it.

We went to Baltimore to visit Dan & Marissa! We went out to eat at a seafood place (ick) . . but luckily they had other stuff that was pretty yummy! It was so great to see them! They are quite the hosts! They made us yummy white chili and we had chocolate and strawberries and marshmallows and pretzels with their chocolate fondue kit! We also watched the Steelers kick some Raven butt!

On our way home . . I was trying to get a picture of Shaney sleeping peacefully with Majr, but he woke up and smiled. . .

So we got home from Baltimore and you would've thought a tornado went through our house. The kitties had Shane's sneakers all over and we found this in our bedroom . . the weirdest thing . . the one leg of the table was missing . . . and it was all the way on the other side of the house in the spare bedroom behind the tv against the wall . . how the heck did the cats get that long stick all the way across the house?!?! They are crazy.

This week has been going A LOT better than last week. . . I did not get out of work @ 5 any day last week, and this week I have been getting out @ 5 or a little after. We actually worked out for the first time yesterday . . and yes. . I'm extremely sore today (but that's ok . . I'm not complaining . . I love to be sore. . . being sore is my favorite). . . but seriously . . it's so great to be back to the gym . . even if its once a week . . . annnddd my friend Mase (sorry I'm too lazy to link her blog, but it's over on my blog roll) signed us up for some volleyball! We start the first week of February! We are being "The Dundies" . . . it's from the office! Best show ever. Anyways . . I really got distracted from explaining this photo . . . on my way home from work the other day, I got to see this beautiful sky, and it just reminded me about all the good in my life.

Dentist Squirrel! & My Cute Kitties . . . of course.

So I had to go to the dentist on Monday to pick up my retainer . . . and as they were sanding it down a little to make it smoother . . . this lil guy/gal popped up out of nowhere! Of course, I had my camera with me and was able to get it out quick enough for a shot . . . but when I went to take another pic, it was already gone . . . . I don't know how the heck it stayed on the window!! Kung-fu squirrel! Oh . . and the poor thing did all of that for nothing, because the feeder was empty. :-(


Well this past weekend I went to Pittsburgh for KT's wedding dress shopping (to-be-in-a-separate-post), and we brought the kitties with us. My parents met us in Cranberry (sooooooo good to us) so we could give the kitties to them for a week before we come home, so that when people come to the house to see it, Nina & Jinx don't try to run out the door (because they do that every time). But we miss them a lot. :-( I have already been told they are driving my parents crazy . . . trying to get out of all the doors, jumping on the counters, and they also like to do this thing where they walk in front of you for a little bit and then just randomly collapse in front of you . . making you almost step on them and trip. Ugh. . . . crazy cats. But I miss you!

Silly Kitties . . .

Well, I talked about how my cats like to jump in every door . . . and I forgot to mention another door . . the attic door. . . .

We don't have stairs to our attic, so we have to use a ladder. Our kitties climb up it as soon as it's in place and stand at the top and just start meowing while they look up . .then look at you . . then look up . . then meow again . . . Nina has got in the attic a couple of times . . . at least 3 feet from the ladder to the attic I would say . . . crazy cats.

Kitty Adventures!

As always, we bring our kitties with us when we travel (if we can). I know . . we are pathetic, but we love our kitties and want to "socialize" them as much as possible, so they do not run and hide when other people come over and so they are used to people, dogs, babies, etc.

We went home last weekend, and so our kitties got to come along for the ride! They are usually pretty good in the car. . . . lately Nina has been whining a lot, but usually they sleep the entire 6 1/2 hours.

They love their grandparents' houses because they have stairs they can climb and fun places they can go and explore. They always come out later with dirty paws and cobwebs all over their faces. The grandmas appreciate all the cleaning Nina & Jinx do for them.

Although, the latest trip, Nina & Jinx got somewhere dirty, and decided to take a bath to clean up! I think they made more of a mess though . . . . sorry grandma!

They then headed up to the sink to drink some water! Running all over the house and exploring makes you thirsty!

Oh my lovely kitties! Our lives are so much more fun with them! :-) And their grandmas' houses so much cleaner! (at least the cobweb part). . . .

Ok . . . so our cats are crazy. . . they love to lay on the air conditioning vents . . when the cold air is blowing! And they love jumping in the fridge as soon as we open it so they can lay down in it . . . the pic below was from this very morning! . . . I thought cats liked warm temperatures?!

Also, look what else I saw my cute kitty, Nina, do this morning . . and every other morning this week . . . as I was leaving for work . . .

And my lovely sister-in-law sent me this beautiful picture of my niece, Bryce, today via phone message! I can't be there to hold her and see her grow . . . and it just kills me, so I just LOOOOVEE when I get these picture messages from Bry & Sommer! I seriously showed everyone at work, and kept opening it back up during the day to look again! She is just so gosh darn cute!
