Erie always has amazing sunsets. Here are just a few from our front yard:

Sunset!

Shane and I went on a 2-mile walk tonight and saw this beautiful sunset!!
These pictures were taken by my phone too!! How awesome is that?!

Kitties & Sunsets . . .

Some of the best parts of my day . . .

Our kitties snuggling on our laps after a long day at work . . . seriously. I just love this picture, because it captures their sister bond perfectly. They are just soooooooo cute together, but still snuggle with us too! I love it! For those of you wanting to get just one kitten, I totally suggest getting two. I would never just get one after seeing how much fun they have with each other and how much they snuggle and play with each other and bathe each other and eat together and chase mice together (not at our house of course) and greet our visitors together. I just love that they love each other and love that they love us, because we sure love them!

And I love that the sun has actually been getting up a little earlier and going to bed a little later, because I get to see the sunset now on my way home from work! Usually I get to work before the sun gets up and leave after it goes down, so I am just in my glory getting to see this beautiful work of nature.

It probably doesn't help my driving much looking at all these gorgeous views, but I actually did stop to take this picture!! Ugh!! I just can't get over how beautiful it is! I just love being home in Erie. :-)

Sunrise Sunset!

Although I didn't think the sunrises and sunsets were as pretty as Erie's, they were pretty beautiful!!

We got up at around 5:50am EVERY DAY on our cruise except one day to see the sunrise. And we stayed awake all day long with out any nappies (mostly . . except a few occasional naps on the deck when we were at sea). It was worth it and felt like we were getting the most out of every day.

Leaving the port of New Orleans, LA . . . it was freezing!! They just got snow there like a day or two before we got there, and it was still very chilly and breezy!

Our first sunset on the ocean. If you look on the right side you can kinda see a rainbow! It was so neat! Still pretty windy and cold also.

Our first stop! Progreso, Mexico! It has the longest pier in the world! 4 miles from shore!

We did get a little disappointment in a couple of our sunrise trips. Twice we woke up early to find that we could not even really see the sunrise. Bummer. But we still stayed awake and ate breakfast and carried on with our day.

I think this is the sunrise at Cozumel! Absolutely beautiful there!
