Some may think this is cute (I do . . . kinda), some may think this is the most stupid post ever (sorry if you do), but when I saw her in there, I FREAKED out! Mostly because this is one of my worst nightmares . . . . accidentally turning the dryer on when my cats are in there. And you think I might be overreacting, which I probably am. . . buttttttttttttttt, anytime I open any door, my cats are suddenly there, jumping in. Whether it's the garage door, the fridge door, the closet door, the bedroom door . . . anywhere . . the only door they haven't jumped in (thank goodness) is the oven door! And they are so quick about it, sometimes you don't even realize it, so every time I start the dryer, I check to make sure there are no kitties in it . . . then I check again . . then I close the dryer door and walk around the house to make sure I find both of them before I start the dryer. Yes. I know. I am pathetic. But I am also an overprotective mommy that doesn't want anything happening to her kitties who like to jump in random places they shouldn't be.

you are not pathetic - this is a real concern, I've heard stories of cats being trapped in dryers and killed with broken backs. I do the exact same thing. check the dryer twice, the cupboards, the fridge - my cats are jus tlike yours. I've accidentally locked them on porches for a few hours, one cat even got locked in a wall when we had to open it to access our plubming! no joke!! so you are a very good kitty mommy, and stay obsessive about it to keep them safe! don't let anyone make fun of you :)

lucy was in the lazy susan once...i heard her crying when i came home...who knows how long she was in there! mum and dad were in bed! it was so funny and sad i couldnt help but laugh and almost cry!
oh and luce almost got out when we were moving...we had the front door propped open and dad was moving something & i was upstairs...so he yells "lucy's outside!" and i almost fell down the stairs to get her [cause i mean, she's fast, we're afraid she won't come bacK! :(] but that scared her and she ran back inside, so i trapped her the basement till we were done :)

aww silly kitttennnnsszzz...weezy doesnt get in the dryer (it's on top of our front load washer) so I dont have to worry about that!
