Random . . . .

My thoughts are very random right now, and I can't seem to concentrate on one thing for very long because there are ALOT of things coming up . . .

1) Let me start by saying my niece just melted my heart again the other day. She loooovess her "bubba and buddy" (bottle and security blanket) and usually has to have her mommy or daddy snuggle her while she drinks it, but the other day she walked right over to me when I was on the couch and just stood there in front of me, looked straight into my eyes, and smiled at me. So I picked her up and put her on my lap and she snuggled with me while she drank her bubba and held her buddy. It was one of the greatest feelings in the world!

2) My brother & sister in law sold their house (yay!), so now they will get to move into their dream home! Excited for them and glad they can be a little less stressed right now.

3) Taking the kitties to the vet this weekend for a checkup and to get some preventative flee/worm meds.

4) Going to try to help coach some long and triple jump with my hubby! Excited to do that since it's been 4 years since we've jumped ourselves (sniff, sniff)!

5) Very upset about electric costs. We keep having very high bills (close to $200) and so Shane called Penelec and the lady was like "nope. that's normal. . . . by the way . . when the cap goes off, expect to pay 30% more!"

6) How come you can't have a "Family Plan" at the YMCA? Ok. . . I mean .. you can. But everyone (besides the parents) has to be in school and living together and under a certain age. But for phone plans, you can have a family plan with pretty much anyone! Not fair. C'est la vie!

7) Having Easter breakfast at our house with my dad's side of the fam then going to Shane's family's easter lunch, then to my mom's side's Easter dinner. Gonna be a busy weekend!

8) Finally got some black, flat shoes (Naturalizer Calva from DSW online w/free shipping). I really wanted the most comfortable ones I could find since they will be my walking shoes when we go to Germany! (as of now, they aren't as comfy as all the reviews stated, but maybe I just need to break them in . . . they are a lot easier to walk in than heels though).9) Umm . . have you seen the weather forecast for Erie for the next couple of days?! Who's excited?!

10) Shane and I are getting our couples massages next weekend (free too!! Using gift certificate from Mommy & Daddy from Christmas)!

11) Been planning Mase's top secret bachelorette party. That's all I can say about that.

12) I really miss taking pictures. When I took my photography class we were forced to take pictures every week and print them out and bring them in. . . I've really been slacking (I'm going to say that the weathers been to blame . . . I hate taking indoor pictures and looooove nature pics), so hopefully I will bust out my camera since it's supposed to warm up and get out there and start shooting again!

13) I know we've been home in Erie for almost 1 1/2 years already (holy crap!), but I still feel extremely blessed to be back so close to our family and friends! They are pretty much awesome.

14) I want to win the lottery.

Flowers from my wonderful hubby for valentine's day!! He got these for me because he knows I love the color pink and I told him my new favorite color is yellow (although light blue is also my favorite color)! How sweet! I absolutely love them and absolutely love him! Really, he helps me get through so much and I ALWAYS laugh when I am around him. We don't really celebrate Valentine's day very big . . no big dinner for us . . we actually had left over sloppy joes!! But we exchange some candy and cards! It's too close to my birthday to celebrate that big.
My handsome pup, Behren! We had to take him to the vet to get his ears checked out, and get his leg checked out. . . . he keeps limping :-(. . . his ear is a lot better now, and his leg is off and on ok. They said if it's not better in 10 days to go back and they will take an x-ray.
My kitty Jinx & Nina sleeping all cuddled up again. They are just the cutest!! I know I always say this, but I am SOOOOOOOOOOO glad we got two kitties and not just one!! I love to watch them interact with each other, and I love having two kitties snuggle up to you!! I would actually probably get even more kitties, but Shane says two is enough.
And of course, my beautiful niece, BRYCE!! She is getting so big! Sitting in her high chair! She celebrated her 6 month birthday last weekend!!

And . . . . her mommy and daddy and Shane and I got tickets to go see Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Montgomery Gentry, Sugarland, and Lady Antebellum . . . all at once!!! My first REAL concert!! So excited!! :-)

Hello! So still no cruise pics . . . really we need to get a new internet connection . . . it's just far too frustrating to upload them all.

So here are some random pics for you!

So . . the one day on my way to work, I got freaked out by a school bus and tried to move over (the ditch was blending in with the road) . . I went too far over, and the ditch sucked me right in. . . . ugh. . it really was terrible. . . so embarrassing and so frustrating b/c I had to put all the extra burden on everyone. . . (my hubby was wonderful in picking me up and taking care of the tow truck and taking the car to my dad's shop . . . my dad was awesome by fixing my car super fast for me . . there was a bent arm or something . . .) . . anyways . . I worked from home that day, and Shane decided to go meander down to his mom and stepdad's creek to see what it looked like. It's been so cold in Erie (-25 degrees with the wind chill at one point) and so snowy and icy . . . . Shane loves it.

We went to Baltimore to visit Dan & Marissa! We went out to eat at a seafood place (ick) . . but luckily they had other stuff that was pretty yummy! It was so great to see them! They are quite the hosts! They made us yummy white chili and we had chocolate and strawberries and marshmallows and pretzels with their chocolate fondue kit! We also watched the Steelers kick some Raven butt!

On our way home . . I was trying to get a picture of Shaney sleeping peacefully with Majr, but he woke up and smiled. . .

So we got home from Baltimore and you would've thought a tornado went through our house. The kitties had Shane's sneakers all over and we found this in our bedroom . . the weirdest thing . . the one leg of the table was missing . . . and it was all the way on the other side of the house in the spare bedroom behind the tv against the wall . . how the heck did the cats get that long stick all the way across the house?!?! They are crazy.

This week has been going A LOT better than last week. . . I did not get out of work @ 5 any day last week, and this week I have been getting out @ 5 or a little after. We actually worked out for the first time yesterday . . and yes. . I'm extremely sore today (but that's ok . . I'm not complaining . . I love to be sore. . . being sore is my favorite). . . but seriously . . it's so great to be back to the gym . . even if its once a week . . . annnddd my friend Mase (sorry I'm too lazy to link her blog, but it's over on my blog roll) signed us up for some volleyball! We start the first week of February! We are being "The Dundies" . . . it's from the office! Best show ever. Anyways . . I really got distracted from explaining this photo . . . on my way home from work the other day, I got to see this beautiful sky, and it just reminded me about all the good in my life.

Ugh. . . .

Ugh . . . I really have several things to post about, but I just don't have the time or energy right now to do it. . . . so you just get a recap of some things.

I had my first "closing" at work today . . . I thought it was going to be a lot worse than it was . . . only worked 10 hours!

The cruise is only 10 days away!!! AHHH!!!!! So exciting and so nerve wrecking! I just hope I can relax a little, because I feel like I won't be able to, and I need to. . . . also found out that KC will be my roomie! Yay!

And since moving home (which I am still excited about, don't get me wrong) . . . I feel like I get to see my family (especially my hubby) and friends less than I did when I was in Virginia. . . I don't know why . . . I just feel like I have been going and going and not getting the time or have just been too stressed and overwhelmed to appreciate the time I do get with them. I just really want our house to sell . . . ASAP . . . now. . . and we haven't even had any showings. :-( In time I guess . . .I hope . . . I pray.
