Parents 31st Anniversary!

For my parents 31st anniversary, we went to the Sloppy Duck for dinner and then headed over to see the sunset on the lake.

I cannot begin to say how proud I am of my parents for their 31 years of marriage. Yeah they've had lots of ups and downs, what marriage doesn't?! But they prevailed and as their only daughter (and child), there is no greater gift they could give me.

This is one of my favorite pictures of them (taken on their 31st anniversary). It just shows how head over heels my mom still is for my dad. I'm sure my dad feels the same way, right dad!?

An anniversary is a time to celebrate the joys of today, the memories of yesterday, and the hopes of tomorrow.

Here's to another wonderful 31 years! I love you!

Mase & Josh's Wedding!

Mase (Amy) & Josh got married last Friday, August 20th!!

Thursday, we went and got our nails done at Coventina. Here is Mase under the dryer.

That night we had the rehearsal and helped set up a few things at the church.

Mase forgot her awesome ribbon bouquet (that I made) and her marriage license . . so she was kinda stressed at this moment in time but really was awesome overall.. . we thought we were going to have big time Bridezilla but she was very nice and relaxed . . . i think it might've been the xanax . . just sayin . .

These two get the "most awesome couple" award. I mean come on . . how cool do they look together!? So cute. (Best man - Tyler - and his wife).

I think this is where the church coordinator was yelling at us for not paying attention.

The details were awesomeeeeeee. I didn't really have time to take too many pics, so most of these were actually taken by my amazzzzzzing husband, Shane.

For rehearsal dinner we went to Serafini's. We got yummy iced tea, watered down coke, and bread and butter for dinner. Just kidding . . . they were just super busy so we had a nice, long, relaxing dinner. It was fun (seriously.)!

Mase is so gorgeous. period.

Love love LOVED the flowers. So pretty and so perfect with all the other details.

Mr. Mason & Mase!

Umm . . . ignore our bored faces. This wedding ceremony actually FLEW by. Except in the very beginning where the pastor kept talking . . . maybe that was this part. (It was good though! I actually paid attention . . . that's it! . . we are all just deep in thought).

Vows!

And the ring a ling lings!

Woah boy! First kiss ever. As husband and wife.

On to the party! Reception table centerpieces!

Awesome yummy cake and cuppies!

So here are all the SKANKs parents (minus Mase's). . . . we thought it was odd that they sat girls on one side, boys on the other . . they say this is what happens when you are married too long.

The beautiful Mr. & Mrs.!!!

Such a beautiful wedding and I was greatly blessed to have been a part of it.

Parents Christmas Party!

I love my parents. Seriously. I am so thankful that God picked them to be mine.

Last night was my mom's Christmas party for work. I "surprised" my mom by going over to their house and did her hair for her, her nails, her make up, and helped her pick out an outfit.

I think I did a good job!! Doesn't she look so beautiful!?? And, of course, my dad is handsome too!!

On the Road Again . . .

Well my parents left this morning to head back to Erie. I had an amazing time with them, and always love spending time with them. I am so glad after all these years , that I still have a close, loving relationship with my parents. I feel so blessed and thank God for them everyday.

We relaxed, but mostly . . . ate . . A LOT, and did lots of yard work! I will post some pictures later of all the mums we planted and the yard after it was all raked up.

We went for some walks with Behren. It was so great to see him. I don't know how people can live without pets. They just add so much more to your lives. (Example: Last time Behren was at our house, we didn't have a screen door to go out back, so when my dad opened the glass door to let him out, he ran right into the screen door . . . ha! Not only once, or twice, but it took him three times to learn! Aww Behren! It was so cute and so funny!)

Back to the daily grind today though. All new heroes tonight! And Big Bang Theory, and How I Met Your Mother, and Two and a Half Men . . . yikes!

Daddy's Day!

Yay! Happy daddy's day to the besssssssssstest daddy in the world! :-)

I am truly so blessed to have the great father & father-in-laws that I have!!

I love you daddy!

We were lucky enough to have my awesome dad and mom come visit last weekend. They brought our little boy, Behren, with them . . . long story short . . he has separation anxiety and we couldn't leave him alone, so he's with my parents who take him to work with them! We ate aloooooooooot when they were here, did lots of yard work (in 100 degree weather!), went for lots of walks w/Behren, and relaxed in front of the tele! We always love seeing our fams and hate to see them go! Hopefully some time soon we can move back to good ol' Erie to be with them!

Here are some pics from that weekend . . .
